Is Search Engine Optimization Actually Dead? The Truth Finally Disclosed

By Evelyn Myers

Not a day goes by that I do not receive an e-mail claiming that SEO is dead. Have you ever saw that those that are screaming SEO is dead, just happen to have a miracle solution. Sometimes its a plugin, a service, or some bogus software application.

Do not get me wrong, those people deserve to do or state whatever they want to. Hi there, even more power to them! On the other side of the concern I come across victims of these supposed anti-SEO people method too commonly.

Just for a minute I want you to take a look at SEO from a birds-eye view. 100% of individuals who are searching for something online use some sort of online search engine. Even if you are making use of an iPhone and you tell Siri to discover your regional pizza place, it is using an online search engine. Can we all agree that it is very important to have your website noted in search engine result? Right?

At this point we should both be on the same page. That means that you agree that it is important to have our site indexed in the search results. There is only two ways to show up in the search results. You can (A) Pay for it, or (B) get indexed organically. Paying for it is known as Pay-Per-Click or PPC. Generating search results organically is known as Search Engine Optimization or SEO.

I challenge you to go to Google right now and search for anything that you are interested in. I guarantee you that whatever you are searching for you will generate some sort of results. Each and every one of those results were generated organically. This is proof that SEO is not dead.

The best advice I can give to anyone is find a reliable source to get your information. If you are interested in learning how to finally jump start your online business you are going to need a mentor to guide you through the shark infested waters of online marketing.
