Contemporary Beeswax Candle Designs Give Life To Any Space

By Lisa Mitchell

After a long day, it helps to unwind and relax. This is the best way for many to recharge so they can be more productive and have the mental energy to move forward. However, it can be difficult to take a breather in a space that looks chaotic. By placing a few holders with contemporary beeswax candle designs in a few clear spaces in a room, all a person may need is a glass of wine.

The art of relaxation can be difficult for some, especially if a person works from home or sits in front of a computer all day. Most working persons may find themselves spending up to 16 hours a day looking at a monitor or device. If they figure in work matters, paying personal bills, or communicating with others, the time can certainly add up.

There are many affordable gift sets that can be used in almost any room. These are great for those who have a sensitive respiratory system since this type of candle burns clean. Since the aroma is light, most find this to be rather pleasing. Instead of contrasting with the scents of the harvest, the slight sweetness may be complementary.

One alternative would be to read by candlelight instead of a device. Large votive candles placed inside a clear holder might be a decent source of light. If natural sunlight is not available, a soft white bulb can provide enough natural light without being harsh.

Although candles are practical as well as effective, it is always a good rule of thumb to place nice candles in a space that is always kept clean. This may be a corner in the living room, den, or indoor patio. The reason is that while it may be difficult to keep clutter at a minimum, having a designated space can save time and worry after a long day.

If a person likes to use scented candles, this space should also benefit from the fragrance. What some people do not realize is that some aromas, like lavender, may be calming. Candles with a natural fragrance are the most effective, even if the scent is not very strong. Although some like to sniff unlit candles for its potency, the lingering scent can be distracting to some.

While some find candles and wine to be the perfect pairing, the latter can be substituted with different teas. Preferred teas for relaxing are chai, herbal, and fruit blends but it is really up to the individual. Whether they enjoy tea with the usual condiments or by itself, there is no wrong way to enjoy it.

Teas can also help with some chronic ailments that may prevent a person from relaxing. More people are discovering that alternative therapies either work better than prescribed medicine or allow the user to take less. Chamomile is good for those who are experiencing insomnia and hibiscus has been found to lower elevated blood pressure.

If a person is looking for the perfect gift for that person that may be hard to please, going with something practical is always the best solution. There are many great items that are inexpensive but hold great value. Once the gift giver sees the light, they can create their own gift packages that work for each individual.
